The Breeder certifies that this puppy has been thoroughly
examined by a licensed veterinarian and is in good
health.
The health certificate or Veterinarian
statement will be given to the purchaser indicating what vaccines and dewormings were administered to the puppy.
The puppy therefore will have received proper
vaccinations for his age(most times 3 boosters) and will have had at least 2 deworming's .We Do not let pups go before 10
weeks of age .. All further vaccinations, follow-ups and dewormings will become the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
The Breeder guarantees the puppy against the
following infections for a period of NO MORE than 10 days.
PARVOVIRUS, DISTEMPER, RABIES.
No other infectious diseases or viruses are
covered under this guarantee and the purchaser accepts this by signing this guarantee agreement.
The Guarantee does not cover Parasites
internal or external ,coccidiosiss, Guardia, hypoglycemia, hepatitis.
We do not refund or replace for hernia's
of any type, they can and do appear as a dog grows .I do not guarantee,knees,bites or size.
The breeder cannot take any other responsibility
for the puppy once it is no longer under the Breeder's care and therefore cannot control which animals the puppy may come
into contact with and from which the puppy may then be infected.
I do not cover hydrocephalus in any dog over
the age of 6 months .
Therefore, it is recommended that the purchaser
not allow the puppy to come into direct contact with any other animals for a period of at least 15 days and to have his veterinarian
check the puppy thoroughly to attest to his good health.
It is also a recommendation from the Breeder
to have a stool sample analyzed within 3 workings days after the puppy arrives to his new home. This is to assure that the
puppy has no internal intestinal parasites.
Some parasites can develop within a few hours
or days , such as Coccidiosis, which is a parasite related to stress and has nothing to do with bad or good breeding.
Therefore, all puppies going to new homes should
have a stool sample analyzed by the purchaser's veterinarian
to make sure the puppy has not developed any such problem. If such a problem should arise the purchaser takes full responsibility
to care for the puppy and will not hold the breeder accountable in any way.
The Breeder has administered only the basic
deworming product recommended by the breeder's veterinarian and cannot be held accountable for a problem arising after
the puppy is delivered to the purchaser .
The Breeder recommends to the purchaser to
seek the services of a veterinarian that is knowledgeable about this tiny breed in order to avoid any serious problems.
The Breeder WILL NOT BE HELD accountable
for adverse reactions that may occur because of vaccinations administered by the purchaser's veterinarian.
The Breeder gives the purchaser a period of
no more than 3 workings days after taking possession of puppy to have the puppy thoroughly checked by his own veterinarian..
If any abnormality should be found by the purchaser's
veterinarian, that could seriously endanger the life and health of the puppy, the purchaser must advise the Breeder IMMEDIATELY
of the problem. If the purchaser does not advise
the Breeder of such problem IMMEDIATELY, then the purchaser will have no recourse against the Breeder and the purchaser accepts
this.
The purchaser however, if returning a puppy
that has been diagnosed with a serious health problem, must take full responsibility in bringing the puppy back to the Breeder.
The Breeder would then consider an exchange for the puppy (NO REFUNDS) when a puppy similar to the purchaser's puppy becomes
available.
Under all other circumstances, it is understood
that no exchange will take place.
The Breeder may take from 12 to 24 months in
order to have another puppy available to the purchaser, and the purchaser accepts this condition.
This guarantee DOES NOT cover the following
minor flaws or any condition that is minor and can be corrected by veterinarian intervention
OPEN FONTANEL (often seen in this breed and
not lifethreatening to the puppy)
UNEVEN BITE (this is not a health related problem)
EARS NOT STANDING
COAT COLOR (coat color can change as the puppy matures)
SIZE (we give no guarantee concerning the size
a puppy will mature at)
HERNIAS (of any category)
Any other infections, except those stated in
this guarantee agreement, WILL NOT BE the responsibility of the Breeder and the purchaser agrees to this.
If at any time after delivery of the
puppy to the purchaser, the puppy requires hospitalization due to HYPOGLYCEMIA (low blood sugar) symptoms, the Breeder WILL
NOT BE held accountable.
The purchaser has been well advised of the
special care that is required when purchasing a very tiny puppy, in order to avoid such conditions and the Breeder DOES NOT
GUARANTEE that this condition will never arise. The Breeder has also advised the purchaser on what symptoms to look for if
such a condition should arise and they are as follows:
POSSIBLE SIGNS OF LOW BLOOD SUGAR (HYPOGLYCEMIA)
FIRST STAGE: (supervise the puppy, make sure he eats before bed)
Puppy is not playful
Loss of appetite
SECOND STAGE: (CRITICAL, seek veterinary care)
Body becomes limp
Puppy does not lift his head easily
THIRD STAGE: (VERY CRITICAL, seek veterinary
care IMMEDIATELY)
Body completely limp, usually the head tilts
backward and is stiffer
Slower heartbeat
Body temperature drops
Mouth is stiff and gums become white
If any of these symptoms occur, the purchaser
must advise his veterinarian as time is of the essence.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser
to assure proper care if such condition should arise and the purchaser agrees NOT TO HOLD THE BREEDER ACCOUNTABLE AT ANY TIME
should hypoglycemia symptoms occur and the purchaser requires the services of a veterinarian to care for the sick puppy.
This guarantee does not cover injuries caused by
a fall or because the puppy was physically harmed in any way. In the light of this, it is recommended to never leave the puppy without proper care or supervision or left alone on a
couch, a table or a bed and the breeder recommends taking extra care when closing doors, especially patio doors with such
a tiny breed.
This guarantee does not cover allergies that
the purchaser or his family members may develop to the dog or cerebral injuries due to any circumstance.
If a male is purchased
as PET ONLY, WITHOUT BREEDING RIGHTS, the Breeder does not guarantee the presence of both testicles. If only 1 testicle or
no testicles are descended or present, the Breeder will not be held accountable and the purchaser accepts this by signing
this guarantee agreement understanding that no exchange or refund will be considered.
In the event that the puppy develops patella
luxation, too short or too long ligaments in the paw, feet or leg area, the Breeder will not be held accountable and the purchaser
takes full responsibility if such a case should arise to have the puppy
treated at his own expense. Unless it is
stated in writing by 2 veterinarian's that the luxation was not caused by an injury or roughness,and
that in their opinion it was genetic,then it is limited to puppy replacement .
To assure ourselves that our breeding stock,
males and females do not have any of the conditions stated above, we have our breeders checked periodically by a licensed
veterinarian in order to avoid any such problems for the puppies but we cannot guarantee that this will never occur. By doing
this, we do what is humanly possible in order to assure the health of all our adult breeding stock and their offspring. The
Breeder therefore will not be held accountable if ever any of these conditions should arise. The purchaser has read and understood
this paragraph and has agreed to take full responsibility if any such conditions should arise at any time.
WE Do not guarantee a dog for show unless it
is over 6 months old and we have shown it an an AKC sanctioned event ourselves . Puppies that are show quality at the
time of purchase can and do fall apart conformation wise . They have the bloodlines behind them to be show dogs but not all
turn out conformation wise or have the personality for it .
If it ever occurs that the purchaser can no
longer care for the puppy, the Breeder is committed in helping the purchaser find a suitable home for the puppy and will do
everything possible to assist the purchaser in his search for a new family for the puppy.
After having read, understood and accepted
all aspects of this guarantee agreement, the purchaser has agreed to the above terms by signing or placing
a deposit as stated below . By Placing a deposit on one of our puppies the buyer understands that the terms and
conditions of this contract are in effect the same as signing it . All of the above terms apply as soon
as the deposit is received.
IF sending the final payment by mail please
print and sign a copy of this contract ,Even if a copy is not signed,by purchasing a puppy from Jo`s Puppies you are
agreeing to all the contract terms and they apply same as signing once you have the puppy in your hands.
